Getting to Kilkea Castle

For Guests travelling from Dublin please progress to the M9 from the M7. Exit the M7 at Junction 3, take the 3rd Exit signposted Athy/Castlecomer. At the next roundabout take the 1st Exit signposted Athy/Castlecomer. Continue straight on the N78 for approximately 4.5 miles/7.25 km, turn left at the sign for Kilkea. Continue straight for approximately 0.5 miles/0.8 km until you reach the stop sign, turn left at the sign for Kilkea.

Continue straight on the R418 for approximately 4 miles/6.4 km and you will arrive at Kilkea Castle.

For Guests travelling from the South East, please take Exit 4 on the M9 and follow signs for Castledermot. Once you get to Castledermot please follow signs for Kilkea.
