We are currently recruiting for Full-Time and Part-Time Conference & Banqueting Waiters to join our growing team here at Kilkea Castle

Conference & Banqueting Waiter

Director of Conference & Banqueting
Job Description:
The successful candidate will ensure a smooth and efficient running of the conference & banqueting department while maintaining agreed standards of customer service as well as setting up assigned function rooms, stations and tables
Key Responsibilities
- Setting up assigned function rooms, stations and tables
- Retrieve and serve alcoholic, non-alcoholic and food orders to guest tables according to hotel specifications and group requirement, courteously and efficiently
- Take beverage orders and collect payments where specified
- Maintain cleanliness and condition of the work areas and equipment
- To carry out cash handling procedures in accordance with Company Policy
- Adhere to strict Health & Safety standards to ensure well-being of guests and other team members
- Be able to move and lift up to 16kg (women) and up to 25kg (men) as per safe manual handling guidelines
Skills/Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in a similar conference & banqueting waiter role
- Previous bar experience
- Knowledge of Food Hygiene Regulations
- Cash handling experience an advantage
- Excellent customer skills and communication skills
- Committed to delivering high levels of customer service
- Excellent grooming standards
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- Ability to work on your own on as part of a team
- Ability to serve alcohol as per current laws
