We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Housekeeping Supervisor to join our growing team here at Kilkea Castle

Job Description:
The successful candidate will provide clean and well-maintained bedrooms, bathrooms, corridors, public areas, and back of house areas for all guests to agreed standards.
Key Responsibilities
- To assists the housekeeping manager in day to day management of housekeeping department
- Assign the team their duties and inspect work to ensure high standards of cleanliness
- Ensure all staff have full knowledge of events, functions or group arrivals at the hotel
- Ensure stock levels in accommodation and housekeeping trolleys are always adhered to in relation to linen, cleaning chemicals, guest supplies, etc.
- Ensure correct staff level in department
- To report any lost and found property and maintenance issues to the relevant manager
- To ensure that reasonable care is taken for the health & safety of yourself, other employees, guests, and other persons on the premises.
- To liaise with different departments to ensure any special requests are adhered to in the guest bedrooms
- Uphold high standards of customer service and respond to guest requests accordingly
Skills/Requirements
- Experience in a similar position essential
- Must be reliable, punctual and be flexible with shifts
- Must have excellent communication skills and be a team player
- Must be able to take instruction effectively
- Must be able to work as part of a team to achieve high standards required
- Must adhere to Health & Safety requirements
