We are currently recruiting for a Full Time Food & Beverages Supervisor to join our growing team here at Kilkea Castle

Job Description:
The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of the bar and dining area. The role involves ensuring that both guests and staff have a positive experience while maintaining operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- To assist, motivate and lead the team, ensuring all aspects of tasks are being carried to the highest standard.
- In the absence of the Manager, to ensure the team are supported and organised.
- Resolve any issues that may arise, such as customer complaints or internal issues with the team such as sick calls
- Motivate and encourage the team
- Ability to assist the Manager in all aspects of the workload when needed
- To train all new and existing staff members on company policies, procedures, service standards and health and safety regulations
- Ensure all staff are complaint with Health and Safety regulations, including food safety standards, cleanliness, and sanitisation
- Ensure dining area is clean and appropriately set up for service as well as supervise the setup, breakdown and cleaning of dining area.
Skills/Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience is preferrable
- Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Strong leadership, organisational and multitasking skills with ability to work well under pressure
- Be able to demonstrate an efficient and courteous approach to guests, be great a communicator and have a friendly manner
- Flexibility is a must. Successful candidates must be available to work full time hours, midweek days and also weekends
- Have a good knowledge of food and drinks service standards
- Training experience an advantage
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in a food & beverage environment is essential
- Ability to manage, coach and direct a team
- A passion for customer service
- Be experienced in a standard driven environment and be detail orientated
