Spa Therapist
Key Responsibilities:
To provide clients with relevant and appropriate spa treatments.
- To ensure that an informed knowledge consultation is followed at each visit.
- Ensure client paperwork has been reviewed carefully, ensuring all contra-indications have been addressed, and filled up with the relevant details after the treatment.
- Consult with Spa Management prior to treating any client condition/situation that may cause harm or distress to clients during or following a treatment.
- Ensure full treatments are carried out as required by the Company through relevant training that you receive.
- If another therapist handling the guest after you, see to it that the important information contained in the guest’s Case History profile is handed to that person.
- To greet your clients with a friendly welcome.
- To be attentive to any guest needing assistance or looking lost, anytime, anywhere.
- Ensure consistency and high standards of treatments are delivered on each client visit.
- To begin and end treatments at the published time, ensuring that clients are not kept waiting for their treatment at any time.
- To ensure the guest is satisfied at the end of each service.
- To ensure that treatment room sanitization process is followed between guests.
- To follow the procedures in the SPA SOP.
Customer care
- To anticipate guests needs whenever possible to enhance quality service and in turn enhance guest satisfaction.
- To assist in achieving Hotel and Departmental goals in relation to mystery audits, customer comment index, quality evaluation.
- To assist guests always.
- To become fully aware of 100% guest satisfaction and to always implement agreed practices.
- To report on all guest feedback to a supervisor or manager.
Quality
- To assist in maintaining the Hotel Quality system, to ensure we always offer guests consistently high standards of quality throughout the Property.
- To ensure Kilkea standards are always achieved.
- To assist in achieving annual awards and goals we set out.
- Ensure all departmental checklists are completed and checked by the supervisor before going off duty.
Standards
- To wear the agreed uniform and to maintain uniform according to the agreed standard.
- To ensure that the highest possible standard of personal hygiene, dress, uniform, appearance, body language and conduct is always maintained.
- To carry out departmental standards in accordance with the SOP Manual
- To ensure that standards are maintained.
- To deliver departmental service promise, service recovery and to carry out agreed practices to ensure guests receive 100% satisfaction.
Flexibility
- To accept flexible work schedule necessary for uninterrupted service to the spa guests.
Health & Safety responsibilities
- To ensure all accident and incidents are reported to the relevant people and to assist in providing all relevant backup.
- To maintain own working area tidy and in good shape. To report defective materials and equipment to the appropriate individual
